Chingay 45 was something that we looked forward to working as a team. With great enthusiasm, we covered Chingay 45 on 14 and 21st January 2017.

Anticipating the fun that we will enjoy, the wet weather came pouring down on us heavily. One of our teammates, photographer of the team, mentioned that it was difficult capturing photos while it was raining. The camera that she used was also malfunctioning due to the rain. All things went south when we realised that we could not have enough footage to complete our project. However, that did not bring down the team’s determination to complete what we need to do. Looking at how the performers’ determination, we pulled through the hurdles together as a team.

As our newsmakers delayed in giving us the information that we need, it dampened our moods together with the weather.

Overall, it was a really fun experience because none of us has ever had a chance to do something like this before.
